Halloween

Nathan was in Louisiana on Thursday night so I had to carve pumpkins with the kids by myself. Cutting, scooping, carving, and picture taking were all up to me. We did the best we could.

For Halloween on Friday Jordan and Ryan wanted to be "Tom & Jerry". With the economy weak, we decided to go with homemade costumes this year. So, stretch your imagination and picture the brown mouse(Ryan) and the grey cat(Jordan) as the infamous cartoon duo "Tom & Jerry". The evening started out by picking up Johnathan at Tamra and John's. Notice the pirate ship in the front yard. We then headed to Fairhope and the kids trick or treated over at Susie's with Mary Ellis and about 30 other kids. Susie's neighbor Ellis pulled all the kids on a trailer up and down the street. Tony dressed up as a crazed chain-saw wielding mad-man and jumped out of the woods at one point and scared all the children. Ryan and Jordan were in tears which dried up quickly when we informed them who the mad-man was.
